issues with nero

hi there!

Nero is giving me some headache...
Always have used Nero...but since I formatted my compt and got my LG 4081 DVD-burner I'm having some problems:

Nero Recode will always "disable" the option "burn to DVD" and Nero won't let me record Audio CDs! The funny thing is: I can still record my mp3 as data to CDs!!!!

How weird is that?? Compatibility issues with my burner?? How to solve the problem?

I predict that there will be no shortage of Nero bashers join this thread very shortly.

I would suggest possibly trying a few different revisions of Nero. If that doesn't work, you probably have to look at some alternative software such as RecordNow MAX. If Nero is your one and only, you may have to look at getting a refund for your burner and getting one that is better supported by Nero.

Did you get your Nero with another brand CDRW recorder or did you purchase Nero seperately? If you received Nero with a different brand recorder as a package deal the interface and serial number are only for that brand recorder. In order to use another brand recorder you will have to get the version of Nero that works with all types of drives.
