I use DVD player JVC SL42 about 2 years, it was multiregional, but not long ago I buy some disks, witch not read by this player. Computer DVD-Rom, other player (Panasonic S75) plays well. Then I find instruction how reset the player and apply it.
DVD reset procedure for XVLTR1-XVS30-XVS40-
XVS42-XVS45-XVE100SL
1. Make sure there is no Disc in the tray.
2. Shut off the unit and unplug it from the AC outlet.
3. While pressing both PLAY and OPEN/CLOSE buttons on the front panel reconnect
the power cord
4. On the front panel “TEST **********” will be displayed
5. Press 3D PHONIC button on the remote control
6. After “DTS “ is displayed on the front panel turn the unit off.
7.Unit is ready to use
Now my player not multiregional, R1 and R2 disks show "region code error". Please help with commands to turn it back.
