  1. hi there!

I`ve been trying DVD-LAB (wow, what a piece of heaven!! love it), and
I got some questions for you, DVD-masters:

1-can I add an intro video before the 1st menu comes up? How?

2-If I disable "anti-aliasing" feature on fonts...will it still looks good on tv? (since they seem to look too 'thick' with aliasing)

3-can I add a transition between menus even if they are MOTION menus (mpg clips?)

thanx a lot for any info!

  2. 1- Link your intro-movie from the first play icon. Then link your intro-movie to the menu. I do this all the time.

2 - Didn't matter for me when I tried it.

3 - I doubt it since a transition is really a short movie 'compiled' by dvd-lab. Need a static start and finish frame to keep things 'smooth'. However I have seen commerical DVD menus that have motion menus and will transition. However, the motion was subtle.

There is a reason why God gave us one mouth and two ears!!!

about the aliasing stuff, what u mean? Did you use anti-aliasing and it looked fine or did you disable and still look good??

  4. You can create transitions between motion menus. It might not do exactly what you want, but it will do it. If I remember correctly, it takes either the first or last frame of each menu and does the transition with it.
