Anyone run into any problems with crashing the 2001 when trying to use .SRT subs? It happens on 301 and 302 firmware...
It plays fine on some subtitles, but on others I hit the "subtitle" button and the player locks up *completely*. Can't turn off with power button, no response, video stops... We're talking the "oh god, it is broken crash". Thankfully, pulling the power cable out and plugging it back it works fine. It'll boot up completely.
Anyone run into this problem? I'm assuming there's something about the .srt file that it doesn't like. I've named it very simple (no strange characters just moviename.srt)... Also, it doesn't even start displaying any subs... It looks like it crashes while trying to load into memory. (in other words, it does NOT display subs for a while THEN crash).
Could it be something like trying to display two subs at the same time? (I know some of my anime will have two conversations at the same time).

Same with LVD-2002, on firmware 0302, it freezes when i put many subtile files together on cd, some are with different extensions and some with different names like moviename.est.srt and moviename.eng. srt and moviename.est.sub and etc. But so f ar i find it's not very big problem, at least it's avoidable.
