    LG GSA4081B (tri-format rewriter) - around £74 from www.ebuyer.co.uk.
You could also try the newer LG GSA4082B although this will cost a little bit more (£86).

    Good luck with your purchase!

Can you even read?? Freaking tons of information here for you to wade through and come to YOUR OWN logical conclusion..
If you can't even do that how how do you even expect to USE the burner you finally buy?

  6. Maxntraks....do you have to be so rude. I am a novice...no I will not be able to put a dvd writer in my pc and burn 100 dvds the same day. I said I am new to all this and I meant it. I came on here wanting sound advice from dvd writer owners who know which work well and which dont. Its that simple really. Just want advice not a course on dvd writing.
I do hope I get some replies like the first two who actaully seem to understand my plight.
    Thanks

Just some info for you.....Every brand of dvd burners have their own share of problems...I have a plextor 708A and have no problems with burning....most people have problems with it because they don't use the recommended dvd media that plextor supports.....In dvd burning their are lots of variables as to the software you use to the brands of dvd media to how your burner is hooked up in your pc.....check cdfreaks.com...they have forums for Plextor, Pioneer, Liteon & Nec.....

    bo,
I read posts like this day in and day out and find it hard to believe that users such as yourself do not even take the slightest initiative to do some research on your own. The selection of a burner and/or software is something only you can make. Some combinations work for some, don't for others... only you can make the final call...
I am far from a know-it-all when it comes to things related to DVD, encoding, authoring, etc but I know that I have learned more from reading the guides and doing searches as opposed to asking for information that you can find on your own. You have no idea of how many times I've had to rebuild my system after installing the "next great thing" in DVD authoring or whatever after it hosed my pc, knowing that if I did more research I could have saved hours and hours by NOT installling "the next great thing" in DVD related software... One thing I've learned is that there is more information HERE then you'll ever need... take the time to research and you'll find yourself the answers you need.
