hi there, whenever i made my home movies and edited them into clips i wanted i sometimes want to have them joined together so they all play straight after each other without a little jump (as is what happens when the dvd player has to find a different movie file) - up until now i simply used tmpgenc dvd author to fix them altogether (into a VOB) then de-muxed using Vob Edit - sometimes i wouldn't even de-mux, simply add the Vob to my dvd author program.
the problem - this worked great a while ago but recently i have made more files and muxed them together the same way as usual, only now just as one clip comes to an end it always seems to mess up (it's hard ot describe, it almost goes in fast forward for a second then slows down to compensate), then it goes onto the next clip as it should - it's not a huge issue but it's noticeable to me and i don't like it.
i have heard good things of ifo edit for dvd authoring - does anyone think this would rectify my problem?
thanks all.
mik x
