since so many discussions here touch on copyright, Fair Use, online sharing, etc. etc. , this will probably be interesting to many of us. I'm 50% of the way through, and I think it's great.
basically, it discusses the history of copyright, and the need for balance between creator's / distributor's rights, and the benefits of public domain and free culture for society at large.
it's refreshingly non-academic in tone, and available for free download as a .pdf file.
anyone else reading this? your thoughts?

I'm 35 pages into the book so far. Excellent reading, and leading itself into a very interesting argument. The story on RCA and FM radio is something I didn't know about.
I think I know where the argument is going, and I'm interested in seeing how the author will make that argument.
