    just formatted my computer, and i seem to be having trouble getting the bitrate calculator to work, i cant load any java programmes either, where do i get java from? ive tried getting it by going to some chat rooms (java ones) but it wont let me install it, says signature error or something

    thanx just tried still getting signature error, it does install but wont load any java apps, what could cause this?

    I just tried the calc page and it said "applet not found". Maybe it's down for the time being. Try getting into one of your java chatrooms. At least that way you'll know if your java plugin is working properly. You might want to try restarting too.

    Well thank God for that! Seriously, I guess the bitrate calc is just down for a bit. Try using the AVI(X)(S)VCD Bitrate Calculator in the tools section for the meantime.
