Where is your embedded ripper?
I ran a quick search on Google, and it came up with stuff like an "embedded windows media ripper", so I assume it's when a program like Gordian Knot has incorporated a separate ripper made by someone else, or has a ripper built right in. The purpose of this is for the end user to be able to click on a button that says "Rip xxx" and it will happen, without having to tell them "Download xxx, install it this way, do this, that and the next then you're done".

hi there. i also did the google search thing and got the same results you
did. that's why i asked the question here. i should've been more specific
of why i was asking this. i was a pc show the other day and saw dvd x copy platinum for sale. the seller said it had the an "embedded ripper".
i was wondering what that was. thanx -
I think the seller was referring to his product's ability to rip a DVD using its own ripping engine as opposed to using a third party program like DVD Decrypter or Smartripper.
