  1. Okay, I have this concert in in .AVI splitted in two parts: I converted in SVCD with TMPGEnc, everything is okay excepted for those two big black borders on top and bottom like it's wide screen. I don't want those. Maybe it's because I chose full screen 2 (keep proportions)? Maybe it's also because I kept 320 x 240 under positioning instead of putting 480 x 480? Do I have to reencode or I can get rid of those borders? By the way, it's in NTSC.

  2. Pick Full screen. Not Full screen (keep aspect ratio) or whatever else. Tmpgenc will chop off 22.5% of the left, 22.5% of the right side of the movie, just like you want.

    Hmmm...maybe because it is WIDESCREEN!!! Yes full screen w/out keeping the aspect ratio will solve this.
