    Is there any way to put subtitles in a DVD, in a separate file from the film?
    The film is a result of converting *.avi to mpeg2.
    I didn't see any subject of this kind in the tutorials? Is there any one?

    I have a separate file from the film, which I can convert to any format with Subtitle workshop.
    It's just a regular subtitle file, which anyone can get from the internet!

    Well, if you convert the DVD into a m2v and mpa file, you can use IfoEdit with the subtitles in .sop format. Select DVD Author-->Author New DVD.
