I have a 1000 MHZ Intel Pentium Processor, 128 Megs Of Ram, and an ATI Wonder VE and I can't capture at 640 by 480. Shouldn't I be able to with these system specs? What can I do to make my pc capable of capturing at this resolution? Thanks.

A 350mhz computer can capture at 720x480 uncompressed. The problem could be with your hardware, setup, or PCI load. When you say you can't capture at 640x480, does the ATI support capturing at that resolution? Have you tried to capture with different software like Virtual Dub or AVI_IO?
Or do you mean that you get buffer underuns and/or dropped frames at 640x480? If so, how much crap do you have running in the background? Can you lighten your PCI bus load? etc. etc. -
I record and the files has frequent lines going through it. Not interlaced lines. They look more like lines that come when a lot of action is taking place.
