    I've tried this codec, but I don't know why it puts six white box in the upper right corner of screen.

    If there is anybody who can use it without this issue, please, write a post.

    The Elecard MPEG-2 decoder is shareware. You have to register it to remove the watermark. Alternately, you can try to find another MPEG-2 decoder, such as one that might come with a software DVD player.

    My wifes machine has mpeg2 software DVD playback. I'd like to copy the codec to my nicer but disadvantaged machine. I can't install the DVD player though. Is there a directory with the codecs and do they have to be registered in the registry?
