Being in the market for a DVD burner, I would appreciate
some input and experiences from those of you who already
have a Pioneer A03 or newer Hewlett-Packard 100i.
Take notice Pioneer is DVD-RW and HP is DVD+RW (being
two different formats)
Which one is best?
anyone?
are DVD-R media different from eachother?

dvd+rw is best if you believe the philips...but that doesnt mean that it will be the biggest format.
dvd-r are only supported by the dvd-rw burners...it seems to be the most compatible format so far. -

dvd-r seems to be the most compatible at the moment i haven't seen a dvd player purchased within the last two years not play one
as for the best unit i dont know all i know is my ao3 is currently with pioneer uk for testing as it has a problem with refusing to burn at 2x wether its driver problems i dont know let them sort it out well see how good they are ive tried everything to get it to work from clean reformat to changing drivers aspi ect
