  1. Hi,

After copying a dozen or so movies without a hitch using clonedvd, i went to do one recently, and found when i go to enter the path to the video files the message 'Clonedvd does not backup copy protected disks.' with some further info re CSS encoding. The end result being i cannot copy the disk. Even disks i have copied before i am unable to do now, so if anyone has encountered this problem and knows how to rectify it would be appreiciated.
I checked earlier forum posts and couldnt see anything related so apologies if someone has to repeat themselves.
    Thanks

If you are still having problems..I would suggest downloading DVD Decrypter and/or DVD shrink. They are both free and much better than Clone DVD

  4. I have done all my dvd movie copies using a registered vers. of clonedvd which up until now has worked fine. Now i get the message i explained in my previous post when i go to copy and thats all it does, which renders this software completely useless.
Again if someone has any idea about this, please share them.
    Thanks

  5. go to this link and download AnyDVD it's made by the same people who make CloneDVD (even though they don't say) and download it install it (you get 21 days for free) and make sure you turn it on .... the little red fox icon should be down in your system tray and then try your CloneDVD and see if you get that message.

If so then somehow you been copying movies that aren't protected and now you got one that is. You can also use DVD Decrypter for free to rip and then point Clone DVD to compress it, but if you want to rip straight from CloneDVD as you have been doing use the AnyDVD for now.
