p2pnet.net News:- OT, but with Janet Jackson's right breast in mind, Britons won't be allowed to watch a film encouraging people to vote in the European elections.

Why's that?

Because it "showed a glimpse of a nipple," writes Andrew Sparrow in the Telegraph Online here.

It, " proved too much for flustered British censors to bear," says Patrick Barkham in the Guardian Unlimited here.

The image was cut before it "could outrage cinemagoers across the UK," says Barkham, adding that the Cinema Advertising Association ordered that the nipple be nipped.

"It forgets the fact that millions of bosoms are thrust into people's faces every single day in the tabloids," UK MP Julia Drown is quoted as saying oin a BBC story here.

The ad will, however, be shown in its original version across Europe.

i don't have a problem with a nipple. but people who WATCH party political broadcasts would have. they are only watched by
a) women so ugly they need to go to politics to feel powerful
b) men so fat they can no longer see their own penis, so they turn to politics to feel good.
c) pensioners
d) mung bean eating tree huggers who are too stoned to really know what's going on.

Nipples would offend the first three groups, and overstimulate the last one. not a good idea.
