Audio sound

Hello All:

Is there a simple way to tell if a movie file, that is to be or that has already been, downloaded from the internet has audio sound associated with it?
I have downloaded severial files recently and when I tried to encode them there were no audio files.

Any help would be appreciated.

Using G-spot will tell you what kind(if any) audio streams your files have.
