hey guys, i got a hard to explain problem, but here it is...
i'm trying to rip a concert dvd i bought to avi, and one of the bonus features of the dvd is that it has commentary from the artist when the feature is activated. the concert plays while the commentary is voiced over it. i tried to rip the main files for the dvd (the actual concert performance) but then the .avi file ends up having the commentary, rather than just the performance audio. i only wanna watch the concert and hear what it's meant to be like, not with commentary. i have no idea how to get rid of it, can anyone help? all the other .ifo and .vob files are for extra actual video features like trailers etc.
help is greatly appreciated! thanks in advance![]()

I had a similar problem with a DVD that is 2 sided. When I loaded the DVD info into the program I wanted to use to covert, The audio was listed as AC3- 6 channel. and after encoding I watched the movie and the directors comments audio was playing over top of the movies audio.
I used DVDx 2.2 to covert from DVD to SVCD
I had an option where the AC3-6 channel was listed, there was a drop down menu there, and I changed it from AC3-6 channel, to AC3- 2 channel, and the audio played perfectly.
Hope this helps..
