Sony vaio 360zg

I am thinking about buying the above mentioned laptop and would like some feedback. I did a weak search here and about, and have come up with a few questions. What is the big issue that some people have with Sony? Is it a real issue or mainly sterotype? Some seem to love sony, some hate sony. Any reasons? This unit looks like it is loaded for bear. Lots of ports, DVD+/-, 3.06, 533FSB. Will this do video no problem? I can't find the HD speed online anywhere yet, anybody know? Will it do dual monitor? Like laptop screen and TV out at the same time for video editing? I need a toy like this like I need another hole in my head, but I got an itch. Video isn't all it would be for. I would be doing some on site CAD and going from paper to E-forms. At least that is my rational. Any pros and cons are welcome as are suggestions for alternatives with explainations. I have looked at others and keep getting information overload and distracted. And building to spec is just as difficult. This is a fair chunk of change for a toy. If i showed even the smallest remoarse in my selection my spousal unit would lead me to commit spouse-a-cide or at least a good de-toothing. So for the children, please help me make a good choice. I was always told that when Vaio's break you have to buy Sony parts. Not like a regular PC where you can pretty much interchange any brand you want. Not sure about Laptops though for sony. I did a search and I can't find that model. Are you sure that's right??

Sorry try GRT360ZG Sometimes it is hard to find even on the sony site. And I am aware that laptops are not as parts compatible as a desktop. That is why I am looking for as much in a unit as I think I could stand. The chance of any real upgrade after sale is pretty much none. You pointed me towards some info before about a video wall Thanks. I haven't done anything on it yet, but I got to get them monitors out of my garage I can't get my mower out and spring is almost here. Yes I do like the picture. Any way to see it bigger? That is if it isn't your wife or daughter or such

I found it in some yahoo shop. By the specs, I'd say it's bad @ss but the price is pretty steap. I think it'll do everything you want it too. Personally I'd spend that kinda money on a new PC, but that's just me. I don't have any use for a laptop. But given your requirements I say buy it.

If you can wait a couple of days maybe a week I can get that for about 50% of that price. I'm in the process of starting my own business, online & a retail storefront. I'm just going through all the waiting as wholesale companies verify that I'm a legitimate company
