    Hello all was just wandering if anyone could lend a hand here. I've come across an avi. I'm not sure what format it is below I am going to list the specs for the file from vdub's file info. Tmpeg says file unsupported, and main concept list the video as being an hour and 52 mins in length but the audio only 24 min.


    Video Stream
    Frame size, fps 352x240 14.985 fps
    #of frames 102078
    Decompressor divx pro 5.05 codec
    # of key frames 682



    Audio stream
    Sampling rate 24000hz
    Channels 2 (stereo)
    Sample precisions 0-bit
    compression fraunhofer IIS mpeg layer 3 codec
    preload skey 38535 samples
    # of frames 1538


    Any help with an encoder that can handle this file would be much appeciated thanks

    This is the clue:
    divx pro 5.05 codec
    So go install latest DivX codec, and you should be fine.
