skipping between mpegs

i am experiencing a problem where i have 2 mpgs that i am converting. after the conversion is finished and i watch the movie as one DVD i notice that where it goes from "cd1" to "cd2" there is jumpiness and it kinda rewinds a bit then goes into cd2.

it works fine after that and that is really the only annoying thing. i was wondering if there is any fix for that? any way to get a smooth transition between mulitple files?

there is a probably a 2 second overlap which has been encoded into the origional "2nd disc" mpeg (an option in dvd2svcd) either re-encode the origional mpeg or cut off the first 2 seconds of 2nd mpeg using TMPGEnc
