    Hi all, I have a problem with a video file that I wish to burn to disc. I have a file that is of an Xvid type which I want to burn onto a DVD with Roxio DVD builder. the problem is that Roxio seems to be rejecting the file and tells me that the data type is not supported. If this is the case can Xvid be converted to DivX and if so can someone please tell me how?

    Load the vidoe into Virtual Dub mod. Select Video-->Compression-->your favorite DivX codec. Save under a new filename.
