if i have written on printable media with a sharpie, as i do not own a dvd inkjet printer yet, will i be able to either:
1 - remove the sharpie ink and print using a new printer when i can buy one at a later date, or
2 - print directly on top of the sharpie ink with said new printer without it looking horrible?
if anyone can answer this i would appreciate it!

You can use isopropyl alcohol 90% to get most Shapie ink off. May not get it all off a printable surface, but it should be safe for the disc.
