Hi,
I have a lot of SVCD's that I want to burn on DVDs. I use TMPGenc DVD Author and when I load my SVCDs, lot of them give me this error message The video GOP is too long.
I tried to reconvert my files with TMPGenc but the quality of the file is bad.
Could someone help me to fix this problem please ?
TIA.

It is not advised to burn SVCD content to a DVD because the SVCD resolution of 480x480/576 is not a compliant DVD resolution.
There are some tricks that will make it work on some DVD players but most will not function correctly.
You might want to try re-encoding them with TMPGEnc using 352x480/576 and do a CBR of 4000kbps to 5000kbps for best quality conversion although yes some quality will be lost.

I have been using SVCD2DVD and using TMPGEnc DVD Author for the authoring and it always says the GOP's are too long. I ignore it and they play fine.
