  1. Ok, I have ripped properly a dvd to my laptop. It plays just fine however, I hooked up the s-video out of the laptop, and I see the desktop on my monitor. When I play the dvd off my hard drive, the display screen for the dvd video stays black.
    Any suggests?

    I have a Toshiba laptop 2455-s306. P4 512 Meg ram
I have tried Ulead Dvd player, Windows Media player with no luck

    Help?

[edit] right click on the desktop>properties, click the settings tab, then go to advanced, i *think* the option should be somewhere in there, i don't know becuz i'm not hooked up to 2 monitors right now.
