Yeah, the job for me if I was still living at home....who could live off of 11.00 an hour. Though with the amount of hours working there(70)each week, I don't think you would need a home.

what a weird job description.. you're gonna work in a van, lots of overnight travel, computer in a van, kinda low pay. especially for minnesota..
is there some kind of midwest drug cartel looking for a computer nerd? -
Looks like it's for pavement management data aquisition. You drive down the road and it videos the surface, then the computer analyzes the info and rates the surface condition of the roadway. You have to inventory your road condition under federal laws to get funding. Only works in the daylight and you probably have to travel a lot to get to the sites. System is pretty much automatic, probably why they don't pay much. Of course you risk getting rearended because you go slower than traffic, another reason they don't pay much.

Darn that looks like a lot of work... there just aint any jobs startin at the top any more.Big Government is Big Business.. just without a product and at twice the price... after all if the opposite of pro is con then wouldn’t the opposite of progress be congress? -
It'd be a good job for someone doing a road trip if they allowed you to spend more time in each place and also have a hand in deciding what areas you were to travel to.

Coldest place in the continental US most of the time. If this was limited to highways and the like it would suck, but if you got to travel backroads and the like it wouldn't be so bad. I think it would be better aimed at a college student home for the summer. The other consideration is here in MN an emplyer has to pay 1.5x overtime pay for anything beyond 40 hours of work in a week. So if you actually worked 70 hours in a week you'd be getting paid for 85 hours worth of work. Even at $10 an hour that comes out to a decent payckeck every week. Basically like working 40 hours for $20 an hour (but with more working hours of course). -

of course there is no space in rearended, that is why it is an accident if there were space then.......
