  1. Hello all,
This is my first post here so if I'm asking something that has been recently answered I'd appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. Here's my problem. I have a home made DVD (home video music concert), I'm not sure what was used to create it, that I'm trying to re-edit for a friend. The problem is when the DVD was created, the creator added back to the main menu commands at the end of every song. That is each song is separated out as a chapter but when you reach the end of the song you get sent back to the main menu, rather than just playing through to the next song. I'd like to know how to remove these commands at the end of each chapter. I have DVD Decrypter and VOBedit available to me but I can get whatever I need. If along the way you can also tell me how to change a song title on the menu (one song is wrong) I'd appreciate that too. I'm not a complete newbie but this is something I've never done before. Thanks is advance to anyone who can help me out.

If I understand correctly, you want the songs to play one after the other. That's one thing. To do so, I suggest you do the following:
    - rip the files with DVDDecrypter in ISO mode. You will probably have to slecet many vts* files, each containing a .m2v and a .ac3 or .wav file.
    - if the .ac3 indicates a delay, correct with Ac3 Delay corrector
    - remux each .m2v with its corresponding .ac3 file with TMPGEnc.
    - join each resulting .mpg file with TMPGEnc.

As far as changing the menus are concerned, you need an authoring software. There are a few guides on the left depending on your authoring software to re-create menus.

  3. Sugar,
You're right. Right now when the DVD starts the menu comes up just fine. Say you then select the first song, when it finishes you get kicked back to the menu, it won't just continue into the next song. So rather than being able to just watch the show like you were sitting there you have to watch song 1-->menu-->song 2-->menu-->song 3-->menu, etc.
It's not horrible, but it's not great either.
    Thanks for the help.
