  1. Hi all,

I'm using VirtualDub to resize/downsample some .avi files I have for use on my Smartphone DivX player. When I play back the movies they have a 'DivX' stamp in the corner which I would like to get rid of if possible. I'm using DivX 5.0.3 codec (the free version) as the more recent releases don't work on Smartphone DivX player - yet!

Do I have to buy the Pro version to remove the stamp or is it hidden away in the options when I encode

Is the logo present when you play it Virtual Dub? If it is, it is part of the video, and the only suggestion is to blur it out using delogo, or logoaway flters in Vdub. If it is not present, use Virtual Dub mod, and the DivX codec you want, then save.
    Hello.

It's not actually encoded on the video, so your previous DivX files will look fine.
