  1. I am working with some SVCDs, I have demultiplexed the audio into mp2 files. Is there any program that can batch convert the audio files from 44.1 to 48k hertz? Basically in TMPGenc you have to do one audio file at a time (around 13 min each), and I am working with 6 of them. It would be great if there was a program that could do them in a batch.
    Thank you

There's a good program called Awave Audio which will let you do it in batch mode. I've used it for a while now.

The Freeware Route is to use Besweet's Batch Function

  4. I use TMPGenc as a gui for tooLame and SSRC to do this. Basically d/load both programs then run TMPGenc:

    1) Select "options | environmental settings | audio engine"
    2) Under Mpeg-1 audio layer II engine choose 'external program' and point it towards where you installed toolame. Then under Sampling frequency convertor choose 'external program' and point it towards ssrc.
These programs do a much better job then TMPGencs native audio encoder/converter.
    3) Setup encode as normal/desired (audio only, video only or both).
    4) Choose "File | save project"
    5) Repeat as needed/desired
    6) Choose "File | Batch encode", load all the saved projects and hit run

As I said you can do this for multiple EP or PS encodes. I normally set up a bunch then either go to bed or work and let it run for several hours. Very handy feature.
