  1. Hey everyone,

I just installed WINXP preview, and got the win 2000 drivers and 7.1 mmc from ATI, but it will not work. It says to ensure that I have the correct video drivers installed. I am using a geforce 2mx? What should I be doing, has anyone else gotten the TV wonder to work in xp?
    Thanks,

    Wimp

I experimented (briefly) with my Radeon. You'll find that the TV program and all that works fine, but capture will have audio problems. This has to do partially with Direct-X I think, and mostly to do with the ATI software not yet being compatable (after all, Xp is a preview). Other capture software, like Premiere, PowerVCR, V-Dub might work, but I gave up with mine. Unfortunately the best capture software for the ATI cards is ATI MMC, so you can do MPEG-2.

Remind me to read next time.

Not only could your ATI card be causing it, but the GeForce MX too.. it also could not be fully supported, and as far as the two cards working together? Who knows.

  4. I know that they work together fine in ME, but I am dual booting now, and it appears that they do not work. The drivers do work with WIN2000 and most 2000 drivers will work with XP. I just wondered if anyone else had tried it.

    Thanks

  5. I got it installed now but the video is all scrambled... What is strange is that when I go to capture the video comes into clear view. This is great because I can still capture, but stinks because I can't watch tv. By the way this mpeg-2 capture is unbelieveable.... It is awesome, but if anyone knows how to fix this or maybe had the same trouble in win2000 let me know. I would love to get it to work... Any relpies from sommersby or some of the guys would be great..

    Thanks,

    Wimp
