    Greetings

I've searched unsucessfully for a tool that will let me get the properties of a video. Mostly I'd like a quick check to see if the video is ntsc or pal and some other basics.

    TIA
    Thomas

Maybe you have already tried these, but AVIcodec and Gspot should tell you. AVIcodec will tell you for example 25fps and 720 X 576 which would be PAL MPG.

Videotoolbox is pretty cool too. I like it because it has shell integration(right click menu) that saves me a couple of mouse clicks compared to hitting "Properties" then "Summary". I'm lazy, I know. :P

    Kyle_Katarn,

Is there any way to incorperate display for Interlaced / Progressive format?
Also, report Field Order for interlaced source? That would be cool.

    Just a thought.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

In addition, I'd like to suggest incorporating mp4 and OGM container support.
