***Please Assist In Capturing From a Capture Card***

Hi,

Can someone please offer some assistance with either some specific links or an updated guide for capturing video from a VHS tape and directly from cable tv?

Most of the guides that I've peroused are either older versions or have not provided alternative methods that I've heard about in portion. I would like to evaluate various software for these purposes.

I have an Asus TV Tuner capture card and am currently using PowerVCR 3, but am not very happy with the results.

You are going to get tons of conflicting advise/preferances. Most vendors of capture/editing software provide a "trail" version, so try various products to determine what works best for YOUR setup.
