How would that look on my TV screen?
I know I could change the resolution to make it an XSVCD, but wouldn't that also decrease the compatibility with DVD players?
If I do change the resolution from 480 by 480 to 352 by 240, how would that affect the picture? Will the picture quality be less?

There's no need to change the resolution. Your DVD player will stretch the video to the proper aspect ratio. 352x240 isn't a proper 4:3 aspect ratio either but the image will be stretched correctly as well. You would only want to lower the resolution if you were using a lower bitrate. To be honest, I have always wondered exactly how 480x480 was decided upon for SVCD. I just know that it works.

OK teegee420. This is off the topic, but I can't stand it anymore. What's up with the chick swinging the chain? Who is she? and what does she have to do with...

She is GoGo Yubari from the movie Kill Bill Volume I. She's swinging a mace ball at the end of the chain. This of course has nothing to do with anything other than the fact that I loved the movie and her character.

Ok, Cool. This is a movie I haven't seen yet. Have intentions of doing so though. Thanks. We now return to the topic at hand.
