  1. Can someone tell me what im doing wrong here...
    1. download avi/bin movie.
    2. use vitual dub to save wav and decompress.(or if bin i use iso buster)
    3. use tmpeg to encode
    4. i then use dvd movie factory to convert to an iso file.
    5. then i use dvd decrypter to burn onto dvd.

but whenever i do this..the movie is great ,sound is in sync with video..but i allways get the dvd freezing up on me..maybe 3 or 4 times maybe more..and i get the "correcting disk error" message.
i use yellow datawrite and orange bulkpaq but it still happens whatever disk i use.
can someone help me to stop this occuring.
am i doing this process correctly?

    Thanks

    Wingman.

Although not much help to you I get exactly the same problem using exactly the same method, although I use Stomp Record MAX now to burn the ISO. However I have narrowed it down to my DVD Player as they seem to play fine on my PC. (I have a Goodmans DVD 3600PKT and NEC 1300A Burner).

Some other observations I have made though that might be relevant or might be coincidence:

    1) DVD+R gives me much better results than DVD-R, DVD Player can take up to 40secs just to recognise the disk with DVD-R
    2) Exactly the same results with cheap spindle DVD+R and expensive Imation DVD+R
    3) I get exactly the same problem just reburning files ripped from a standard DVD
    4) Given up with Nero Totally as almost all my DVD created with it have frozen or not worked at all.
    5) Starting to get better results with ripped DVDs using DVD2One and CopyToDVD.

Hope this is of some use, and let me know if you find a better solution.
