I知 sure I値l eventually stumble upon the answer to this, but if someone has a quick fix or reason.
I知 capturing VCR video using Canopus ADVC-100 with Adobe Premier. I知 at the stage of experimenting with the tools and I致e noticed on playback (after capture), screen streaks in the form of white horizontal (more or less) lines. The scene in question has dancers against a white background. Whenever there is fast movement (like an arm wave) I see these streaks. Thanks for any advice.

That sounds like interlacing. It's normal, since TVs use interlaced video (as opposed to progressive that computer monitors show). You won't see those lines when you watch the video on your TV.

When I capture video and play it back, the recorded video has a line at the top of the screen that looks like the fuzzy stuff you get when the channel doesnt come in.. It's only at the top part of the video but it's still annoying... anyone have any ideas?
