Dreamcast Vcd Help

I have a dreamcast and tmpg enc. I convert an avi (divx) to mpg 1 and when I go to play the movie on my dc lik-sang 2.0 loads up I say search and play it says Loading... and then nothing happens and it goes back to the title screen. Sometimes it will play the sound but no video. What should I do? plz help me! Am I converting it wrong if so plz help?

Ok.... well your kinda in luck. Becuase i do watch many movies on my dreamcast. I usually encode the file into a regular vcd, using the NTSC VCD template from TMPG. Then i add all of the files from lik-sang..... GypPlay.exe, ip.bin,1st_read.bin, 0gdtex.pvr, and a WinCE directory with 8 files in it. If you do not have all of these files, GypPlay will not work! Anyway then burn the cd as an Iso DATA format. Pop it in the dreamcast.
Do u have a boot cd? If so which one do you have?? try to got to http://www.dccopyworld.com and their will be plenty of help from there. If nothinhg works try another file, boot cd, or the original GYPplay, not the lik-sang version. If nothing else works, your dreamcast just doesnt support it or the CD-R(w) media. GOODLUCK
