obviously new to all this -
I have searched, read, seen the conversion help guides, etc. but still am having this trouble. I have a few (either downloaded, emailed, etc) small clips my bro sends me and want to put them on a dvd for him. I cannot make the small quicktime movie play clearly in a larger window after convering to dv or any other format for that matter. I tried the bmwfilms guide and still no go.
Is there a way to play a small quicktime full screen on an NTSC tv without distortion?
ps, I have Premiere, TMPGEnc plus, windvd, a bunch of plugin codecs...

Keep in mind that you're not really going to gain any picture quality when resizing, so the best you can hope for is that it look as good as the original QuickTime file. Depending on the resolution of the original QuickTime file, you might want to go with either 1/2 D1 (352x480), or "low resolution DVD" (352x240).

thanks I tried the template the bmwfilms offers, and still not what I wanted. I have tried some other settings and have something decent enough for my bro, but will work on the options and settings some more. - back to the reading!!
