    How do I burn an .avi file to VCD or SVCD?
    I have VPC4

    Also. I have an .mpeg movie that I can play in the QuickTime player, but Toast won't burn it as a VCD. What do I do with that?

    Check out the how to on the left (Convert and Author). It will tell you how to burn an avi as vcd...

    As for your mpeg file. If you can't play it and can't burn it as vcd it might just be a svcd. Try burning it as such. To watch a svcd on your pc you need special software...
