I would like to know if there is any factor that could affect dvd ripping quality. Let's say if I use DVD Decrypter. If i backup with my computer when it is idle (as in i am not using it) and if i backup with my computer when it is under slighly usage, does that make a difference in quality as a result?

No.
It might make the process a bit slower if you use the machine to do something else while ripping, but it won't affect the "quality" as you're shifting numbers around. It's not like it's going to drop frames or something, like it could if you were capturing from an analogue source.
