Much to my chagrin I find this "Ulead Burn. Now" stuff that came with my new burner. The Nero I always had "sees" the Pioneer but wont burn it because it was a bundled copy that came with my CD Burner last year. I checked on Nero's supported list and they support the a03, a04, a05, and a06. But the a07 is not listed, is this simply because the drive is so new? Any ideas here?

I didn't invent DVD, I am just a very enthusiastic fan.

Leave the CD burner and the A07 in your computer. Uninstall and then reinstall Nero. If it is Nero 5, upgrade it to 5.5.10.54.

I tried what you said. But again, Nero sees the burner in the "choose recorder" option but will not let me select it, saying that Nero will only work for the CD burner it was bundled with.
And Nero 6 does not show Pioneer A07 support. I don't know what to do.I didn't invent DVD, I am just a very enthusiastic fan. -
They post updates fairly regularly. Keep checking their website, or send them e-mail and tell them to get doin'! I'm looking at a A/107 too, as I'm sure are others....

If you've got a bundled version, it will only work with that manufacturer's drives due to licensing issues.
Tell Ahead what the problem is, and see if they will do you a deal on a "full" version that isn't locked to a certain manufacturer. Updates won't help unless you're talking about updating to V6 by buying the full package. -
They have a special price for upgrades. I had the same bundled disk and only paid $40:
Upgrade from Nero 4, Nero 5.0, Nero 5.5 OEM, Nero 5.5 Retail, Nero 6 OEM -

Then, after cleaning all of this out, if you don't already have nero 5.10 etc. or nero 6.3etc, buy it and install it. I have found that being the only way to fix nero version/bundled software issues. -
Thanks for all the suggestions!!

Do a search on techbargains.com for Nero, there are places blowing out v5 for $10 or so.

what does the OEM version of nero 6.0 include? does it have nero digital included?
Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons. -
I'm not sure, but it might depend on what brand you get it with. I've gotten Nero Express with some CD-RW's, while a Yamaha I had came with the full version because it had DiskT@2....

I couldnt get 5.x to work for me, but was able to get 6.x to work without a hitch.

My question is that there are OEM copies of 6.0 available on the net and my local computer shows for about $10 or less. Does anyone know if 6.0 will support my drive or should I pony up the $70 to register my demo of 6.3?
Thanks in advance for your replies. -

Your writer is too NEW for nero 5 to recognize it. -
handyguy,
I know that it's too new, but I was asking if version 6.0 would support it. I know 6.3 will, but it's $70. -
I think if you buy a full version of Nero 6.0, even it it is an OEM version, you should be able to download the upgrade to 6.3 and apply it fine.

cam,
I mean it doesn't even see it. Under choose recorder, it only list my liteon dvd/cdrw combo. I really want to give 6.0 a try cause 6.3 looks alot diff. and also $$. My concern is if I get an OEM version online, I won't know if it was originally a bundled version or a full version.
