A few weeks ago I purchased a 100 pack of Arita 4x (burn fine at 8x)DVD+R's and have had very good sucess with them (plextor 708A). Unfortunately Newegg dosen't seem to be selling them anymore. What would be some good alternatives for 4x DVD+R(capable of 8x) media, or straight 8x media for ~$100 for a 100pack. I would prefer to buy from Newegg, but would go elsewhere if anyone has recomendations.
Thanks

This weeks ads were kind of slim pickings so nothing available in ur local stores. As far as online goes, I would just wait untill next Friday and see what the stores have to offer. They usually have something on sale that will burn at 4x for about a buck a disc. memorex(YECK!) always seem to been had for a buck a disc and at 4x burns at 8x (+R). Check best buy or staples.

I would actually prefer to order online, just easier for me. I was really happy with the Arita disks I had, no coasters (about 70 burned so far), worked in the 7 or 8 standalones I tried, and also played in PS2's and Xbox. Only drawback is the somewhat ugly purple tops. I would rather not switch to the 'sale of the week' media, but instead know what works and stick with it, however I am not totally against trying something else if others have had sucess with the same burner. I can find the arita disks on some online media stores, but don't want to do business with a tiny online company without some recomendations from others. Newegg is one of the best companies I have delt with online, and have free shipping to boot.
