Got the Fire Wire connected DVDR890 to PC running WinXP.
Any special software needed to do transfer between the two?
Would the DVDR890 be able to perform just like a DVD Writer for the PC?

donpedro, I would like to Transfer Recorded TV Programe from PC to DVD+R using DVDR890 with Fire Wire connection. Is is possible & how please?
I need to edit to remove TV commercials. Roxio can do the job but after editing, not sure whether able to do the transfer?
Thanks. -
I used Pinnacle Studio version 9 (or 8) at the time when I was trasfering video from PC to Philips recorder. Select option make to "Tape". So I guess any software that can post video to MiniDV camcorder should be able do the task.
