  1. I am very masterful on my pc, but when it comes to burning movie files to DVD-R, not one program will do it for me. I have files (.vob, .mpeg, .wav, .etc) that no program will author to a DVD-R (TMPGENc, DVDit!, MyDVD, Ulead, ETC...)...

every files with every program either has numerous errors, or crashes my system...(pc/900mhz,40GBHD, 333RAM)

What gives? I want to go VOB>AVI>DVD...and I have spent weeks trying.
    Any help please?

  2. I want to go VOB>AVI>DVD...
Why not go >vob>DVD Folder>Shrink>DVD... I don't understand why the middle step to AVI?

To make a DVD from VOB files I use:
Tmpgenc DVD Author and create DVD Folder
DVD Shrink if this folder is too big to fit a DVD
Burn with my burning software as data.
    Very simple.

For >vob>AVI>DVD... then open the vob file in VirtualDub MPEG2 and frameserve to Tmpgenc encoder. Use DVD Author to create the folder then burn it as data.

    Good luck.

  3. I sometimes have these problems. Ok, a lot of the time I have these problems. But work on it long enough, and you evertually find your solution to your problems. I once couldn't make any backups for a good couple of months because I found out DVD Decrypter was copying in the wrong "mode".
