i am ripping dvds with dvd decrypter in file mode full movie.then i re-encode using dvd2one selecting full disk.at around 75 80% i get the following error message
ERROR ADJUSTING THE INFO FILE-IT DOES NOT MATCH WITH THE VOB FILE FOR FULL DISK COPY YOU NEED TO COPY ALL THE FILES FROM THE DVD.i do this anyway and all the files are present after ripping with dvd decrypter.this has only just started to happen,as i have ripped a number already with no problems until now.i have ripped the same disks on my other pc the same way and don't get the problem.i have noticed there has been previous posts about this but no real answer.
ps i can select movie only in dvd2one and it works ok ,but thay's no good as a wanted the menus and extras.

Are you sure you have DVD Decrypter set to rip all files in file mode? It's possible to rip only the main movie in file mode.

  4. Which version are you using?

  5. This won't help much, but I had the same thing happen on only one out of close to 100 backups.

It occurred using one of the earlier versions (1.2 i think) Since using 1.4 I haven't had it occur again.

Not too bad occurrance rate considering the far greater problems I've had using other programs.

  6. I've had the exact same error in DVD2one after ripping DVDs that were in poor condition which gave a read errors using DVDdecryptor (which you might not even notice, especially if your retries are set low.) And many times, you will NOT be able to rip just the main movie files either (as you said you were able to, so it could have been worse.) Some DVD drives are more prone to have misreads, which explains why you might not have a problem on another computer. All files have been ripped, but obviously corrupt because of the ignored errors. Shrink, InstantCopy, DVD95copy, Recode, and DVD2one all give errors trying to use the ripped files. They dont know how to deal with certain errors, and I doubt you will find a fix in any of those basic tutorials. However, I can play the ripped DVD files with PowerDVD. I just wanted the main movie, so I use IFOedit to create new IFOs from the main movie set of VOBs. Run IFO edit and select CREATE NEW IFOs. Select your movie VOBS and output to a selected folder. It will create DVD files. You can then open the resulting DVD structure in DVDshrink (and other 1-steppers) and Enjoy!
I've had this happen on very few disks. But at least I can work around it in IFOedit without having to take the VOBs and demux, reencode, and reauthor!

thanks for all the replies, but dvd decrypter showed no read errors.also if i selected movie only in dvd2one it worked ok,but i want the menu's and extras as well , but it's when i select full disk that i get the error so i think it must be something to do with the extras.this has happened on the last five disks in a row.
i'm using the lastest version of both programes and both my writers are pioneers ie 105-106
the same five disks worked on my other pc with full disk selection ok.

  9. Note: The error counter resets to 0 between files.
and both my writers are pioneers ie 105-106
The writer only will affect this if you are using it for ripping. Change your ripping drive with the working system. Another tip - try a DVD that you have backed up before successfully on this system.

  16. I cant say that I have ever had this problem, but I have stuck with DVD Decrypter v.3.1.4.

If you want a copy let me know. ..... might be worth a try, although, the fact that all works ok on your other PC, does seem to suggest it could be software conflicting. Have you tried disabling AV software etc.

thanks for your reply, yes i would love a copy just to see if it will clear the problem.i'll also try out your suggestion failing that i think i might have to revert to the drastic step of a clean install of xp.

  19. Version 1.40 of DVD2One has an added feature that checks to insure that the IFO file matches the VOBs. Many DVDs are authored incorrectly and some VOBs are missing. The DVD you have ripped probably has a missing VOB(s).

Unlikely m8, as he has several disks doing this and they allcopy fine on his other PC.

    Good thinking though
