  1. I have an svcd mpeg thats too big to fit on two cdrs. If I reencode my mpeg with a smaller bitrate how much will it degrade my original mpeg. Also regarding audio, would you extract the audio or just leave it alone when reencoding? Thanks

    Re-encoding always causes quality loss, how much depends on how much you lower the bitrate.

    Regarding the audio... demultiplex to seperate the audio and video, re-encode the video only, remux the audio and video.
