I'm almost a newbie, so please forgive me if this is a silly question or if I don't use the exact terms.
This is the question:
I have an MPEG2 video file.
If I use it to burn a SVCD adding no chapters and then I rip off the mpeg video file I get exactly the same file (binary compare).
If I burn a SVCD adding chapters and then I rip off the mpeg video file I don't get exactly the same file (although it has the same size).
I believed that I should have get exactly the original mpeg files, no matters if I added chapters or not.
Where did I go wrong?
(I have used VCDGear)
Thank you very much for your attention.
All the best.
Stefano
