  1. Pretty low of her if the kid really did give her $20. Too bad we can't see who is right and who is wrong here. That little kid wasn't exactly polite either. If he had talked to me like that I woulda paddled his little butt.

  2. This is why I don't have kids.

I'd horsebeat that kid's ass into submission for disrespecting an adult like that, and then I'd shove my Desert Eagle .50 straight up his nose for threatening to blow up the place.

But I'd not lay a finger on the lady behind the counter, I'd leave that to my wife. That's when it would get ugly.

I think they were both at the same emotional age - he was just being a punk, and she shouldn't have lowered herself into a "dissing" contest with a little punk like that. Both their parents should be ashamed :P

  4. No, the parents wouldn't be ashamed. They'll say it's the fault of society that their children turned out the way they did.

  6. This strikes a chord with me. I apologize if this becomes a long post, but I think it's appropriate here.
One day I had taken the afternoon off and finished what I had to do early. My wife had a talk show on - I think it was Montel. I got interested in it because the subject was "teenagers who have killed someone". They had these four punks on the show who were being allowed to tell their side and try to justify what they did. This one kid, he was 17, had murdered a man for his expensive watch. His justification:

"He was bringing his ass down the street wearing that watch and all that s**t. I says 'Who the f**k are you wearing that nice watch I can't afford', so I kilt his ass and took his watch. I did it because HE had what I wanted, I wanted it bad and knew I could never afford it. Who the f**k was he to wear that s**t in my neighborhood?"

This is how he justified it. He didn't see anything wrong with what he did because he wanted the watch real bad and he was going to have it.

So many kids have turned into feral predators with no sense of respect, honesty or a work ethic. They think they have it coming simply because they're here and the world should be grateful. This is a result of rampant welfare and social programs, a society quick to sue should we ever hurt the little bugger's feelings, and an economy that requires that uninterested third parties raise our kids so the mom can work too.

I thank God my two sons, 19 and 24 years old, never used drugs, never got into gangs, drinking or crime, and respect their parents and all other adults. They're hard-working kids and everyone has commented on how well behaved they were and how straight their heads are screwed on. My wife never needed to work, we home-schooled them for most of their school years, and they turned out great. It was a lot of work, but people shouldn't have kids unless 1) They can afford them and 2) They are willing to make that kid the center of the universe for the next 18 or 20 years. If they can't do that, don't have 'em, and give the rest of us who are paying for these unwanted children a break! The little kid in the video shows what happens when a kid is unwanted and uncared for. If I had talked to another adult like that at his age my dad would have either spanked my butt or grounded me for a month.

Edit: Even if it was part of a movie, it's still real enough. I've seen behavior like that myself from kids about that age and even younger.

Pity when you cannot tell when two very talented actors are plying their craft. I guess we see only what we want.

The real pity is that when we first saw the clip we assumed it was real, since the behavior wasn't uncommon enough to make us suspicious. :P

  9. I thought it was obvious that it was from a movie due to the quality of the footage itself indicating something better than an ordinary home video camera or store security camera was used in the filming.

  10. Sorry Tommyknocker. The stereotype was just too obvious.

When I played it there was a bunch of crap in it like compression haloes around the heads, pixelation, wavy artifacts in the background behind moving objects. Really awful quality. I was using their "revulsion" player. Maybe that's the problem.

Edit: Nope. I saved it to HD and opened it with Media Player 9. It still looks crappy :P

Looks like yet another one of Spike Lee's stupid stereotypes.
