Ya I finally figured out how to ripp a dvd and burn it on to 2 dvdr's so I can watch them on my standalone dvd player. I say 2 dvdr's because I refuse to lose resolution. Anyway, I convert my vob files to img files and burn my dvdr's using dvd decrypter. The dvdr's play back great on my stand alone player, but It just seems like I have to turn the volume way up on my tv to hear the audio. Kind of like when you watch a DVD on a playstation 2, but this is happening on all of my dvd players. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I assume that commerical DVDs don't have this 'audio problem?' Yeah a lot of people (myself included) find that a lot of DVDs have really quite audio. This is normally due to DTS audio being played through standard TV speakers.
