  1. Has anyone found a program that will capture this format to your harddrive? I tried using the one that came with the program then converting the file to mpeg2 with a command line program but the problem is the MovieShaker program breaks up the video into tons of little clips.

    I am just looking for a program (like Scenalyzer) that will capture this to AVI so I can then encode it for DV. I think I read somewhere that Pinnacle might be able to. Just wondering if anyone has done this with success...

    ulead videostudio will capture this. The video on your camere will not be avi so i am not sure what format it will capture in though.
