Here are the facts:
1. I received a DVD that plays beautifully with PowerDvd in my PC.
2. It plays in Black and White on my DVD recorder.
3. It will not play at all on my other standalone dvd player, but it tells me it is in PAL format.
Okay so the DVD is in PAL format. I ripped the vobs to my hard drive, and tried to use Main Concept's mpegencoder to convert the PAL vobs into
NTSC vobs. When I open a vob, MC only sees in the video input like 16 seconds. It should be MUCH longer.
How do I get MC to see the length of the entire vob?
Ok, and then what is the best way to get the audio from the PAL vob and convert to the proper NTSC format?
Thanks for your help,
danCER
